October Tide
October Tide is a Swedish doom metal band.
The two members of Katatonia Jonas Renkse and Fred Norman, led with this side project their musical roots on what is thanked them by the followers of their older works. Here one remembers back to the doom metal of Katatonia albums " Brave Murder Day " (1996) and " Sounds Of Decay" (1997, MCD). Instead of the former singing the Opeth vocalist Mikael Åkerfeldt here takes Mårten Hansen from A Canorous Quintet singing posts.
On 28 September 2010 the album " A Thin Shell " was released. Since then, there are also occasional live performances.
