Odore Joseph Gendron

Odore Joseph Gendron (* September 13 1921 in Manchester ) is retired Bishop of Manchester.

Life

Odore Joseph Gendron received on 31 May 1947, the ordination.

Pope Paul VI. appointed him on 12 December 1974 Bishop of Manchester. The former bishop of Manchester Ernest John Primeau consecrated him on 3 February of the next year as bishop; Co-consecrators were Edward Cornelius O'Leary, Bishop of Portland, and Timothy Joseph Harrington, Auxiliary Bishop of Worcester.

On 12 June 1990, he resigned from his post.
