Oeneus

Oineus (Greek Οἰνεύς, latin Oeneus ) was in Greek mythology, king of Calydon in Aetolia Pleuron and is said to have first planted the mountains Ätoliens with vines. He married Althaea, with whom he had three children: Tydeus, Meleager and Deianeira. The son of Tydeus is attributed by some sources Oineus ' second wife Periboea.
