Oesch's die third parties are a Swiss folk music group from Schwarzenegg in the Bernese Oberland, consisting of Hans Ueli and Anne Marie Oesch, their children, Melanie, Kevin and Mike and the accordionist Urs Meier.

History

The family tradition as a folk musician began with the Trio Oesch by Hans Oesch. Son Hans Ueli continued it. Together with the three children of the third generation, they called themselves then Oesch's die third party.

Already in the 90s were the children with their parents. End of the 90 they had first appearances on local and national television and took a first CD. In 2001, she had several appearances in the United States. Her breakthrough came in 2007 in German-speaking: They represented Switzerland in the talent competition of the Musikantenstadl and won by a considerable margin. From then on, they were a regular guest in the various folk music shows on TV and in large folk music events. When Silvesterstadl 2007 she won the barn star in 2007. At the Grand Prix der Volksmusik they came in 2008 with The Jodel language to third place.
