OFK Belgrade (full official name in Serbian: Омладински фудбалски клуб Београд, Omladinski Fudbalski Klub Beograd; German: Youth Football Club Belgrade ), commonly known as OFK, is the football section of OFK Belgrade, a Serbian sports club from the capital, Belgrade, in the Super League play, the top division in the Serbian football.

The club was founded in 1911 under the name of BSK, who was with five championships won the most successful football club in the Kingdom of Serbia, and later in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. 1898-1911: The history

Beginning of 1911 there was a dispute between several players in the football department founded in 1907, founded in 1898 in Belgrade Fencing Association Srpski Mac (English Serbian sword) and the Association President Radivoje Novakovic, who disagreed with the host a friendly match against the Hask. The association founded in 1903 from Zagreb, who then was under the Hungarian Football Association, it was at that time forbidden by the Association to stage international matches. The Czech Miloš Ekert, who was previously changed from Hask to Srpski mac, kept in touch with his former teammates and saw it as an opportunity to stage a match between these two teams. He saw in it no sense, because he believed that his association was much weaker than the Hask, who was already an established club indeed. So the club's management decided that all the players who went to Zagreb nevertheless, they should be excluded from the club due to undisciplined behavior. Aware of this, however, motivated by this challenge, drove many players, accompanied by some players of SK Soko, the encounter to Zagreb and claimed to be national of the Kingdom of Serbia.

1911-1941: The early years

At the first inaugural meeting of former players Srpski mac, was Andre Jovic as club president, Danilo Stojanović, better known determined by his nickname Cika Daca, one of the greatest pioneers of Serbian football, and Jevrem Pantelic as Vice President and Dušan Milošević as Vereinssekräter. 1945-present: Golden Years and drought

Between 1945 and 1950 the club was Metalac again, then BSK. In 1957 he received the current name OFK Belgrade. In the 1950s and 1960s, the club celebrated his greatest successes in the Yugoslav football. At the time the club played a particularly attractive and successful football, so he also received the nickname Romantičari ( " The Romantics "). He was born in 1955 and 1962 runner-up, as well as 1953, 1955, 1962 and 1966 Cup winner, still standing in the shadow of the big city rivals Red Star Belgrade and Partizan.
