OGK-2
OGK -2 (Russian ОГК -2, full name Оптовая генерирующая компания № 2; Second English Wholesale Generating Company ) is an energy company from Russia with headquarters in the southern Russian Solnetschnodolsk in Stavropol.
OGK -2 employs over 4700 employees (2008). The company's turnover in 2008 amounted to 40.6 billion rubles ( about 1 billion euros ), the profit before tax 794 million rubles (just under 20 million euros ). Thereby a net loss of 1.36 billion rubles was made (about 35 million euros ).
The company was founded on 9 March 2005. Nearly 94 % of OGK -2 shares were initially held by the Russian company Unified Energy System. Until this is Aufstaltung in summer 2008, this share fell to 66.5 %. Meanwhile, Gazprom, through its subsidiary centers Ergo Holding the largest shareholder ( 44.39 % as of June 2009).

From the OGK -2 following thermal power plants are in operation with a total capacity of 8665 megawatts:
- Pskov - 430 MW; Dedowitschi, Pskov oblast; in operation since 1993 ( first block) / 1996 (last block )
- Serow - 526 MW; Serov, Sverdlovsk Oblast; 1954/1959
- Stavropol - 2400 MW; Solnetschnodolsk, Stavropol region; 1975/1983
- Surgut ( also called Surgut -1 ) - 3280 MW; Surgut, Khanty -Mansi; 1972/1983
- Troitsk - 2029 MW; Troitsk, Chelyabinsk Oblast; 1960/1976
