OGLE-TR-182

OGLE -TR -182 is an approximately 13,000 light years from Earth distant star of spectral type G in the constellation Carina. It is characterized by an apparent brightness of 16.8 may not be seen with the naked eye even under optimal viewing conditions. The star is accompanied by an exoplanet OGLE- labeled TR- 182 b, orbiting it in 3.98 days once. The mass of the exoplanet is equivalent to a mass of Jupiter and the distance between the two celestial bodies about 0.05 Astronomical Units.
