Öhlins

The Öhlins Racing AB is a renowned manufacturer of suspension components for motorcycles, automobiles, ATVs and snowmobiles.

The company, based in Upplands Väsby (Sweden) in 1976, founded by Kenth Öhlin, a former motocross rider, as it then was no suspension elements that met his requirements. In 1987, the Yamaha Motor Company the majority of shares, but the company continued to exist as an independent operating company. The end of 2007 bought the company founder Kenth Öhlin the company's shares from Yamaha back.

2008 Öhlins opened his own German subsidiary, the Öhlins Distribution & Service Center in Meuspath at the Nürburgring.

Öhlins considered by the industry as a benchmark in the product characteristics and is original equipment from Aprilia, Ducati, Moto Morini, Yamaha and equips a host victorious motorcycle racing teams, inter alia, in the MotoGP class, the Superbike World Championship and various other national and international racing series. In addition, a significant part of the product range in the aftermarket is sold to end customers.
