Oier Olazábal Paredes ( born September 14, 1989 in Irun, Gipuzkoa ) is a Spanish football goalkeeper, who is under contract with FC Barcelona.

Career

Oier came at the age of 17 years for the youth academy of FC Barcelona. Olazábal, of his hometown club Real Unión was previously active Irun, got a contract until 2012. At Barcelona he was first substitute keeper Rubén in the second team. During the Cup match against CD Alcoyano in January 2008, he first played for the first team. His league debut denied the Basque Matchday third to last of the season 2008/ 09, when Barcelona was already clear as a master, the league match against RCD Mallorca (1:2).

In the 2009/10 season Olazábal rose with FC Barcelona B in the Segunda División on. Between 2010/11 and 2011/12 he kept alternating with Rubén Miño and Jordi Masip goal. In February 2012, Oier extended his contract until 2015. For season 2013/14 he moved to the first team on.
