Stephen Perkins (born 20 century ) is a British broker.

Life

Stephen Perkins was employed since 1998 at PVM Oil Futures Brent Crude as broker in the London International commodities futures division. Part of his job was to handle contracts for customers. He was not authorized to trade with the money from PVM. Perkins caused a worldwide sensation, as in a drunken state he ordered seven million barrels of oil on 29 June 2009 and therefore the price of oil increased in the short term by $ 1.50 per barrel to an eight -month high.
