Oiniades

Iniades (Greek Οινιάδες (f. pl. ), Also Oiniades ) was a municipality in the southeast of the prefecture of Aetolia - Acarnania in Greece. The municipality had a population of 10,227 inhabitants in 2001.

The municipal area is the excavation site of ancient Oiniadai (Greek Οἰνιάδαι ), from which the community takes its name.

Iniades was formed at the municipal reform 1997 ( Kapodistrias Program ) from seven rural communities and went with the administrative reform in 2010 as a district in the municipality of Messolonghi.
