Oktavian Kinsky

Octavian Joseph Graf Kinsky ( born March 13, 1813 Castle Wlkow, † May 28, 1896 ) was a Bohemian nobleman, Obersterblandhofmeister of Bohemia, equestrians and breeders of the breed named after him. From 1831 until his death he was head of the house Kinsky.

Life

The son of Joseph Leopold Graf Kinsky and his wife Maria Teresa, born Baroness von Puteani grew up on Castle Karlskron. After the death of his father he was head of the house Kinsky. On 21 January 1835 Agnes Hedwig Countess Kinsky von Schaffgotsch, Semper free married to and Kynast and Trachenberg ( 1810-1888 ).

On April 10, 1874 Kinsky was one of the founding members of the Vienna Trotting Association. Octavian Graf Kinsky was also a member of the Par Force Company to Pardubice. Together with Max Count Ugarte and Emil Prinz zu Fürstenberg he designed the Parkours and was the organizer of the first authoritative Pardubice Steeplechase on 5 November 1874.

After the death of his first wife, who passed away on February 5, 1888, married the 75 -year-old Kinsky on September 5, 1888 Marie Stubenvollstrasse ( 1860-1909 ). 1896 died Kinsky without issue. His horse breeding was continued by his grandnephew Zdenko Radslav Count Kinsky.
