Olaf Hense

Olaf Hense ( born November 19, 1967 in Dortmund ) is a former German track and field athlete and Olympian, who was a successful 400 - meter runner and 400 -meter hurdler in the 1990s. His greatest achievement is the bronze medal at the World Championships in 1993 with the 4 x 400 - meter relay ( 2:59,99 min, together with Rico songs, Karsten Just and Thomas Schönlebe; Olaf Hense as third runner ).

He also participated in the 1991 World Championships and the 1992 Olympic Games as part hurdler, but did not reach the finals.

Olaf Hense belonged to the LG Olympia Dortmund and coached at Axel Helbig, and later with Rolf Krüsmann. In his playing days, he was 1.87 m tall and weighed 74 kg.
