Olaflur ( INN) is a drug that is used for the prevention of dental caries and periodontal disease.

Chemically, it is the dihydrofluoride a long-chain tertiary diamine. Olaflur counts to the group of amine fluorides.

Use

Olaflur is used for the prevention of caries and periodontal disease since 1966. Here, concentrations of 500 ppm for children's and 1250 ppm for " adult" toothpaste satisfy ( calculated as fluoride). According to the GfK drug index, the average daily dose ( defined daily dose eng. DDD) is 1.1 mg (calculated as fluoride).

Toxicology
