The Old German Mövchen is a domestic pigeons breed and belongs to the group of Mövchentauben.
Pattern Description
The Old German Mövchen is considered the original form of the German Schildmövchens. The breed was called Mövchen in Germany because of their color and pattern of the herring gull. In 1956 she was re- recognized. The medium-sized, compact, graceful acting dove possesses due to the typical expression of the breed characteristics - such as the rounded head, medium length beak, and the goiters - ruff well developed ( jabot ) - a distinctive Mövchencharakter.
