Oldebroek

( Listen? / I ) Oldebroek is a municipality of the province of Gelderland north of the Veluwe. It has a total area of ​​98.85 km ² and counted on 1 January 2013, according to the CBS 22,772 inhabitants.

Location and economic

The Church is at the northern tip of the province of Gelderland, and is adjacent to Kampen in Overijssel, as in Flevoland. History

Oldebroek, mentioned in the Middle Ages as Hollanderbroek, emerged as after a storm flood in 1170 the Earl of money people from Holland invited to take the country back under cultivation and to settle here. Wezep was for the most part only in the 20th century as a residence and settlement commuter village ( Zwolle is only 7 km away). In religious terms, many residents of the community are ( except Wezep ) very orthodox Calvinist.
