Ole Christian Wendel

Ole Christian Wendel ( born January 24, 1992) is a Norwegian ski jumper, nordic combined and cross-country skiers.

After Wendel 2007 completed two competitions in B- World Cup, he won the bronze medal in the team competition at the Junior World Cup in Zakopane on 28 February 2008. A year later, at the Junior World Championship 2009 in Štrbské Pleso he succeeded in winning the gold medal in the team competition as well as winning the bronze medal in the Gundersen competition. On 6 March 2009 he made his debut in the World Cup Nordic Combined. He reached in the last competitions of the season 2008/ 09 was 15 World Cup points and thus the 60th place in the overall World Cup standings. On 10 January 2010, he succeeded with an eighth place in the Gundersen competition in Val di Fiemme for the first time into the top ten. At the Junior World Championship 2010 in Hinterzarten he could win the title for the first time in Gundersen. He also won the Norwegian team the silver medal behind the German team.

For the 2010 Winter Olympics he was officially reported to the levy of the Norwegians, but could be used due to illness in any competition and went off prematurely.
