Ole Erevik

Ole Erevik ( born January 9, 1981 in Stavanger, Norway) is a Norwegian handball player. He is 1.96 m tall and weighs 93 kg.

Ole Erevik, who runs for the Norwegian men's national handball team ( Rückennr. 12) is Goalkeeper.

Erevik began in his hometown of Stavanger with the handball game. For Stavanger Håndball he made his debut in the Norwegian Elite Series. In 2004 he went abroad to Ademar León in the Spanish league ASOBAL. There he won in 2005, although the European Cup Winners' Cup, but did not get past Kasper Hvidt, so in 2005 he moved to league rivals Bidasoa Irun, where he finally became a regular player. Although he was voted the best goalkeeper of the Spanish League in 2007, he could not prevent the descent of his team. So he moved to the SC Magdeburg Gladiators in the German handball league, where he became the successor of John Bitter. However, behind Silvio Heinevetter he received little use times, so he joined the Danish top club KIF Kolding in the summer of 2008. With KIF 2009 he won the Danish championship. 2011 signed a contract with Erevik League rivals Aalborg Håndbold. With Aalborg in 2013, he won the championship.

Ole Erevik has been disputed 153 caps for the Norwegian men's national handball team, and took with Norway also participated in the 2007 World Cup in Germany, where his team but only finished a disappointing 13th place. The 7th place at the World Championship in 2005 therefore represents his greatest international success dar. In the national team he has mostly Steinar Ege to defer the target. At the European Championship 2014 in Denmark, he left after the first round, but was held to 37% of percentage balls second best goalkeeper of the tournament.
