Oleg Antonenko

Aleh Uladsimirawitsch Antonenka (White Russian Алег Уладзіміравіч Антоненка, Russian Олег Владимирович Антоненко / Oleg Vladimirovich Antonenko; born July 1, 1971 in Minsk, Byelorussian SSR) is a Belarusian ice hockey player. Since September 2010 he is at HK Gomel in the Belarusian Extraliga under contract.

Career

Aleh Antonenka began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the HK Junost Minsk. From there he moved to Tiwali Minsk, for the first team until 1992, he then for three years running from 1988 to the highest Soviet League, the Wysschaja League, as well as in the International Hockey League. His team changed its name in 1993 in Minsk Tiwali. With the team he was in the years 1993, 1994 and 1995, three times in a row Belarusian champions. The 1995/96 season he spent at Severstal Cherepovets in the International Hockey League. Subsequently, the winger played one and a half years for Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk and Ak Bars Kazan in the Russian Superleague. The 1999/2000 season he joined his former club Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk in the Super League, but left that after six games and spent most of the season at HC Slovnaft Vsetín in the Czech Extraliga.

From 2000 to 2003 Antonenka each played one year for the Super League participants Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod, Cherepovets Severstal Metallurg Novokuznetsk and. Also the majority of the season 2003/ 04 he spent mostly at Severstal Cherepovets. For the playoffs, he moved to HK Gomel from the Belarusian Extraliga. The 2009/10 season he joined Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg and finished it with his hometown club HC Dinamo Minsk, which had also been included in the KHL in 2008. The season 2010/11 he spent first at Molot - Prikamye Perm Wysschaja Hockey League, the new second Russian league. After only four games, but he left the team in September and already back his ex - HK joined Homel from the Belarusian Extraliga.

Internationally

For Belarus Antonenka participated in the C- 1994 World Cup, the B World Championships in 1997 and 2002 and the A- World Championships 1998, 1999, 2001, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 in part.
