Oleg Lisogor
Oleh Wolodymyrowytsch Lissohor (Ukrainian Олег Володимирович Лісогор, scientific transliteration Oleh Volodymyrovyč Lisohor; born January 17, 1979 in Brovary ) is a former Ukrainian swimmers.
Lissohor was one of the world's best 50 -m breaststroke swimmers and could hold a number of world records. He also won over 50 m breaststroke gold medal at the World Swimming Championships in 2001. At the European Championships 2006 in Budapest Lissohor won gold over 50 m breaststroke, silver in the 4x100 m medley relay and bronze over 100m breaststroke.
After the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where Lissohor by just one hundredth missed the final 100m breaststroke that finished ninth overall, he explained at the age of 29 years his resignation as an active athlete.
