Oleksandr Bondar (diver)

Olexandr Bondar (Ukrainian Олександр Бондар, born 25 October 1993 in Luhansk ) is a Ukrainian diver. It starts in the discipline of 10 - m- high diving in solo and together with Olexandr Horschkowosow in synchronized competitions.

Olexandr Bondar won a total of four gold, three silver and two bronze medals at the European Junior Championships. At the European Championships 2009 in Turin he won his first international medal at the adults in the 10 -meter synchro competition with the bronze medal. Two years later, at the European Championships, again in Turin, with a bronze medal in platform diving his first individual medal. In synchronized competition, he was also able to celebrate the silver medal. At the European Championships 2011 in Eindhoven, he won jointly with Olena Fedorova silver in the mixed team and took the bronze medal in synchronized diving.

In his first World Championship in 2009 in Rome, he was twelfth in the 10 -meter synchro competition. At the same event he won in 2011 in Shanghai with Horschkowosow the bronze medal and also reached the tower the singles final, where he finished eighth. Bondar participated in the first Summer Youth Olympic Games 2010 in Singapore part and won in both the 3m springboard and 10m platform diving in the silver medal. In his first Olympic Games in London in 2012 he came both in single as well as in synchronized diving from the 10 - meter platform finals, finished there but with the seats twelve and eight respectively the last rank.
