Oleksiy Byelik

Oleksiy Hryhorowytsch Bjelik (* February 15, 1981 in Donetsk ) is a Ukrainian football player. When FIFA, the English transcriptions Oleksiy Byelik are ( from Ukrainian ) and Aleksey Belik ( from Russian ) are common, the latter is used by his current club VfL Bochum.

He plays since end of January 2008 as a center forward at VfL Bochum, the Bjelik until the end of the season on loan in 2007/ 08, where he came to four Bundesliga inserts. Previously played Bjelik since May 2000 at Shakhtar Donetsk in the first Ukrainian Premier League. For the club, he scored 55 goals in 170 games. He also belongs to the Ukrainian national football team. He scored three goals in 27 games so far. By the then Ukrainian coach Oleh Blokhin, he was also appointed to the 23-man squad for the 2006 World Cup.
