The Olfe, also called Ölfe, is a 11.6 km long, orographic left or north- western tributary of Nuhne in Hochsauerlandkreis and Waldeck- Frankenberg in North Rhine -Westphalia and Hesse ( Germany ).

Course

The Olfe rises in North Rhine -Westphalia in the Rothaargebirge west-northwest of Hesborn (district of Hallenberg ). Your source is located on the Südsüdostflanke of Boller ( 757.7 m above sea level. NN ) to about 575 m above sea level. NN.

Initially, the Olfe flows through Hesborn and takes in the village on the creek Talwasser. Below it lead the Dormecke (also called Diekmann ) and the Mahlbach a.
