Olga Kaliturina

Olga Viktorovna Kaliturina (Russian Ольга Викторовна Калитурина; born March 9, 1976) is a Russian high jumper.

In 1994, she became Junior World Champion. The most significant success of her career, she celebrated by winning the silver medal at the IAAF 1997 World Championships in Athens. With a height of 1.96 m skipped they shared the second place with the same height Inha Babakowa behind the winner, Hanne Haugland (1.99 m). In the same year Kaliturina Russian champion had become in the high jump.

In 2000, she was 1.96 m third in the Indoor Athletics Championships in Ghent. Before her lay Kajsa Bergqvist (2.00m ) and Zuzana Hlavoňová (1.98 m). At the European Athletics Championships in Munich in 2002 Kaliturina won another bronze medal. With 1.89 m she placed behind Kajsa Bergqvist (1.98 m) and Marina Kupzowa (1.92 m). The following year Kaliturina was only eleventh in the World Athletics Championships in Paris / Saint- Denis.

Olga Kaliturina is 1,80 m tall and has a competition weight of 60 kg. She is married to the long jumper Kirill Sossunow.
