Oliver Straube

Oliver Straube ( born December 13, 1971 in Schwaikheim ) is a former German football player.

Playing career

After three years at the TSF Ditzingen in the Oberliga Baden- Württemberg Straube was committed in 1993 by the Bundesliga 1.FC Nuremberg. He was on Matchday fifth of the 1993/94 season his debut with the club. In the next few years Oliver Straube was an important part of the Nuremberg midfield. He kept the club in the 2nd league loyalty. Until his last game for the 1st FC Nuremberg on 19 May 1996, he completed a total of 62 games in which seven goals get him. In his last game for Nuremberg against SV Meppen he was sent off with a red card.

Oliver Straube joined the 1996/97 season on KFC Uerdingen 05 to the 2nd Bundesliga. With the Krefeldern he managed to avoid relegation. However, the Uerdinger could not hold him. Straube joined in the summer of 1998 for Hamburger SV. There he could not prevail against strong competition in midfield and played only six times. For the season 1999 /00 he moved to Erstligaaufsteiger from Unterhaching. He was a member of the first Bundesliga Team of the Bavarian club. Straube had 30 regular season games and three hits large share of the sensational league. The following season, he could not prevent the descent of the Unterhachinger. He remained loyal to the club but also after the descent. Oliver Straube remained even after the direct relegation to the Regionalliga Süd in Spielvereinigung and still standing in eight games on the court.

In the 2003 /04 season he played again in the 2nd Bundesliga, this time to Straube had the SSV Jahn Regensburg connected. After one season, he went back to the Regionalliga Süd for TuS Koblenz.

His career ended the former Bundesliga player in 2006 at the amateur club ASV Neumarkt.
