Ollie Mitchell

Edward Oliver "Ollie" Mitchell ( born April 8, 1927 in Los Angeles, † May 11 2013 in Puako, Hawaii) was an American studio and jazz trumpeter (also trombone) and bandleader.

Life and work

Mitchell's father was Harold " Pappy " Mitchell, the lead trumpet at the MGM studios was and his son from the age of five years gave trumpet lessons.
