Olof Björnsson

Olof Björnsson († 975 ) was King of Sweden from about 970.

The son of Björn Eriksson ( Björn the old ) and father Styrbjörn the Strong ruled by the Hervarar Saga and the Styrbjarnar þáttr Svíakappa along with his brother, Erik the victory Merry (Erik VIII ). Instead of Olof's son exclaim Styrbjörn after his death to the king, Erik claimed the throne of the co-regent for his yet unborn son Olof Skötkonung.
