Olsen Brothers
The Olsen Brothers (Danish: Brødrene Olsen ) are the two Danish brothers Jørgen ( born March 15, 1950 in Odense) and Noller ( Niels, * April 13, 1954 ibid ) Olsen.
Her career as a rock and pop musicians, they started in 1965 with the formation of the band The Kids. First stage experience they gained as the opening act of the Kinks at their concert in Copenhagen. 1967 published The Kids released their first single.
Both brothers were from March 1971 members of the Danish ensemble of Hair, with whom she later in Denmark, Norway and Sweden went on tour. The first of twelve albums so far of the Olsen Brothers appeared in 1972.
In 2000, she celebrated her comeback in Stockholm after winning the Euro Vision Song Contest. By written by Jørgen Olsen song Fly on the Wings of Love ( orig.: Smuk som et Stjerneskud ) she also landed an internationally commercially successful hit. Since 1978 they took over again participated in the preliminary round to the Danish Euro Vision Song Contest, partly as a duo, sometimes Jørgen Olsen as a soloist. Last latter tried it in 2007.
