The Omerbach at Gressenich

The Omerbach is 11.1 km long, orographic right tributary of the Inde in the cities of Aachen, North Rhine -Westphalia ( Germany ). He is in his middle reaches of the natural border with the district of Düren. His name is of Celtic origin.

Course

The Omerbach rises near the Gottfried cross between Stolberg -Vicht and Wehebach dam in the state forest Hurtgenwald and then runs in a northerly direction. There, it forms the border between the cities of Aachen and Düren, flows on the Gressenicher mill at Scherpenseel, the Korkus, Volkenrath and Bergrath past and by Nothberg. Curiosities
