One Fine Day (band)
One Fine Day was a rock band from Itzehoe. It consisted of frontman last Marten Pulmer, guitarist Hendrik Burkhard, bassist Marco Köhrsen and drummer Erik - Mac Essig.
Band History
The band was founded in 1997 by Marten Pulmer, Hendrik Burkhard and Marco Köhrsen. At that time on the drums: Sascha Niemann and on second guitar Torben Petrovic. ONE FINE DAY 1999, separated by Torben Petrovic and Alexander Blazek joined the band. Sascha Niemann got out in 2003 and Roman Rossbach came to the first, however, played drums. He moved to the lead guitar, as Erik - Mac Essig joined them as the new drummer. In the Cast One Fine Day Play unchanged since 2004.
The first album "all connected" was recorded in 1998. In subsequent years, the EPs "what we share " and " halfway to destiny" were recorded until 2002 with Ulf Nagel as producer, the album was recorded "how to decide " in Kiel. All runs were very short runs, which were sold exclusively at concerts and via mail order and are no longer available.

As a guest singer on the 2006 released album " Damn Right " can be heard Henning Wehland of H- Blockx and Anne Kalstrup of the Pinboys. Was produced this album by Jan -Dirk Poggemann, bassist of the Donots. Three singles were released from this album: " Damn Right ", " Burn" (feat. Henning Wehland ) and "Goodbye Reality ". The end of 2006 they supported along with Dopamine, the band Zebrahead on their Germany tour.
In January 2007, the band was on tour in Germany, in the summer she performed at various festivals throughout Germany on, inter alia, at Rock am Ring, Rock im Park and the Hurricane Festival. In addition, the band has played three showcases at the biggest music trade show SXSW in Austin, Texas in March 2007 and since 20 June 2007, the album " Damn Right " is now also available via Columbia Music Entertainment in Japan in the CD shops. Also in June 2007, the band was in Japan for a couple of concerts and promotional appearances.
In October 2007 One Fine Day were on the second part of their Damn -Right - tour and in November 2007 they supported the H -Blockx on their tour. Over the summer of 2008, the band was at some festivals ( and Others With Full Force, Kiel Week and the World Astra Day ) to see.
Since early 2008, the Hamburg worked on their album "One Fine Day ", which was released at the Hamburg record label ferryhouse / Warner on March 20, 2009. The first single from the called " Emily ". In January and February 2009 One Fine Day played the opening act for The Subways on their Germany tour.
On June 9th and 10th 2009 they were watching in the RTL soap opera Good Times, Bad Times, where she presented, inter alia, their new single " Miracle, are you ready? ". In May 2009 One Fine Day were on Part I of the " Emily Value Tour", in which the Pinboys served as the opening act. It was followed by numerous festival appearances in Germany and Austria, including at the Southside Festival and the Two Days A Week.

In early June, the band explained in a video message their resolution after a last concert on October 2, 2011 in Hamburg.
