Onomacritus

Onomakritos (Greek Ὀνομάκριτος; * around 530 BC; † 480 BC) was a Greek Chresmologe. As such, he was commissioned by Pisistratus to collect the oracles of Musaeus.

Herodotus reported Onomakritos was Hipparchus, son of Pisistratus, was banished from Athens after he was detected by Lazos from Hermione counterfeit of an award of Musaeus, consequently, the island of Lemnos would sink into the sea. After the Peisistratids itself had to the court of the Persian king Xerxes I must flee, helped them Onomakritos by an appropriate selection of low for the Persian oracles, Xerxes to convince them of the favorable prospects of an invasion in Greece.

A job with Pausanias has been interpreted that Onomakritos have justified the cult of Dionysus Zagreus celebrations or at least reformed.
