OpenAFS

OpenAFS is an open- source implementation of the network protocol Andrew File System (AFS ) for distributed network file systems, which is available for various operating systems. Originally AFS was developed at Carnegie Mellon University, and later by IBM. On August 15, 2000 IBM announced its intention to publish its implementation under the IBM Public License.
