Openbravo
Openbravo is an ERP program that can be completely managed via a web browser. It is open source and is under the Openbravo Public License, which in turn is based on the Mozilla Public License. The target group are small and medium enterprises.
It is based partly on a Fork Compiere ( from Spain).
On the server side based Openbravo either to the databases PostgreSQL or Oracle, the Java Development Kit ( JDK) and uses Apache Tomcat.
Openbravo POS
Openbravo POS is a POS software, which has a high degree of integration with Openbravo ERP. Openbravo POS needs the Java Runtime Environment version 5 and works according to the documentation either with Oracle 10g ( Express ), PostgreSQL 8, MySQL 5 or HSQLDB together.
The software is optimized for use on touch-screen monitors and binds a variety of peripherals to, such as Receipt printer ( Epson JavaPOS etc ), POS displays, and cash drawers.
