OpenCA PKI is a cross-platform free software available for CAs that allows the application and management of certificates through a Web interface. Here, OpenLDAP, OpenSSL, and the Apache HTTP server can be used.

In October 2005, a group of former lead developer founded the spin-off OpenXPKI.
