Opération Nez rouge

Nez Rouge is a foundation in Switzerland with the aim to reduce the number of traffic accidents due to alcohol, drugs and drug consumption as well as fatigue. To this end, she goes over the festive period, the vehicles of unroadworthy arms free home.

The service is provided by volunteers, each job is taken over by three volunteers: one leads the customer's vehicle, one driving the vehicle of Nez Rouge to the departure, following the customer's vehicle and the employee shall return to headquarters, the third goes in the customer's vehicle with and accepts assistance or supervision tasks. The idea of Nez Rouge comes from Quebec, where appropriate actions were first performed in 1984. In Switzerland, the first action of 1990 was held in the Canton of Jura. 1991 saw the founding of the association Nez Rouge, who was replaced by today's foundation in 1993.
