OptiY

OptiY is providing a design environment which modern optimization strategies and state-of -the-art probabilistic algorithms for uncertainty and sensitivity analysis, robustness analysis, reliability analysis, data mining and service life prediction and meta-modeling.

History

The predecessor of OptiY is the USAN program package, which was developed at the Technical University of Dresden for modeling, simulation and optimization of mechatronic system. The company OptiY GmbH was founded in 2006 to start the commercialization of software OptiY.

Product

OptiY is an open and multidisciplinary design environment, which has general and direct interfaces to many CAD / CAE software packages and in-house programs. Furthermore, it is also a complex API with a custom element is present. So that the user can integrate external programs for easy use even. The insertion of external simulation systems is very easy with the graphical workflow editor. Another possibility is the interaction with different model classes (eg for network analogies, finite element method, rigid body dynamics) but also with material test facilities (eg controller optimization for drive systems ).
