Orange River Colony

The Orange River Colony (English: Orange River Colony ) was a British colony that emerged at the end of the Second Boer War, after the Orange Free State occupied in 1900 and 1902 had been annexed. The capital of the colony was Bloemfontein. 1910, the colony was annexed as a province of the Orange Free State in the Union of South Africa.

With the Peace of Vereeniging, the colony got their civil administration. As prime minister, serving until 1910 Abraham Fischer.
