Order of Cultural Merit (Monaco)

The Culture of Merit was posted on December 31, 1952 by Prince Rainier III. donated by Monaco and can be given that have made outstanding contributions to art, literature and science, or contributed to the cultural glory of the principality of all the people.

Classes

The order consists of three classes and can be awarded only to the age of 40.

  • Commander - Gold
  • Officer - Silver
  • Knights - Bronze

Order decoration

The religious character is one of a laurel wreath surrounded and supported by a crown coin. It shows on the front of the mirror monogram of its founder R ( Rainier ) with the inscription PRINCIPAUTE DE MONACO 1952, verso the inscription ARTS - LETTRES - SCIENCES ( Art - Literature - Science ).

Carrying method

Commanders carry the distinction of being neck Orders, officers and knights on the tape on the left chest. When officers is also on the tape still attached to a rosette.

The ribbon is red with a central strip of white diamonds.
