Order of Parfaite Amitié

The Order De Parfaite Amitié was donated by Prince Alexander Ferdinand von Thurn und Taxis as earnings and house decorations. Prince Carl Anselm renewed the Order and gave him the appearance is still valid today. With repeal of the Principality by the Act of Confederation of 12 July 1806 Order will only be awarded as house decorations.

Order of classes

The Order was originally founded only in a class.

Prince Johannes changed the statutes in 1985 and has since been awarded the Order as follows:

  • Grand Cross with Star and Sash
  • Great Cross of Merit with Star
  • Great Cross of Merit
  • Cross of Merit, First Class

Order decoration

The religious character is a golden, white enamelled eight-pointed cross. In the cross angles alternately from left to right clockwise, the crenellated tower from the arms of Thurn and an upright lion. On the cross arms, starting from the top clockwise, the golden inscription VIN Clum AMICI TIÆ ( bondage of friendship). In red enamelled medallion the intertwined initials CA (Carl Anselm ). Verso in blue enameled medallion the letters TW and since 1928, the initial A ( Albert).

Between cross and wearing a golden ring prince ' is attached.

Carrying method

Men wear the decoration as neck medals on a sky blue ribbon, women slightly reduced at the ladies loop on the left chest.

Others

A copy of the Order is to visit in the Treasury Museum of the Castle of St. Emmeram in Regensburg.

Bearers

All members of the princely family of Thurn and Taxis received the Order with the completion of the 18th year. He also comes to celebrities for the award who are close to the house.
