Order of the Lithuanian Grand Duke Gediminas

The Order of the Lithuanian Grand Duke Gediminas (Lithuanian Lietuvos didžiojo kunigaikščio Gediminas ordino Didysis kryžius until 2002 Didžiojo Lietuvos kunigaikščio Gediminas ordino Didysis kryžius ) is the fourth highest state award of Lithuania. The President of the Republic of Lithuania takes the award in each case on 16 February, the state festival of Lithuania before.

From 1928 to 1940, the medal has been awarded 140 times, including 107 times to foreigners.
