Đorđe Vujadinović

Đorđe " Djokica " Vujadinović (December 6, 1909 in Smederevo, † October 5, 1990 in Belgrade ) was a Yugoslav football player.

Career

Đorđe Vujadinović, was active for the OFK Belgrade at club level from 1928 to 1940, for which he had already played in the youth in the years 1923 until his debut with the senior citizens. With the former BSK Beograd he won in 1931, 1933, 1935, 1936 and 1939 the championship. Gradjanski Zagreb was the game 's main rival. The Championship was held in 1927 in a league system. It played only the master of the regional classes for the title, but now every man for himself. From the season 1932/33, there was formation of the First League. His debut in the national team was the offensive player on October 6, 1929 in the 1-2 defeat against Romania in Bucharest. He belonged to the Yugoslav national football team, and took her part in the first World Cup in 1930. There, the striker was in the group matches against Brazil and Bolivia, and in the semifinal against Uruguay for use. His last assignment in the national team dates back to the game on November 3, 1940 in Zagreb against Germany. 2-0 success against the team of empire coach Sepp Herberger also his team mate Franjo Glaser, Ernest Dubac Gustav Lehner, Svetislav Valjarevic and Vojin Bozovic were in use. Overall, he graduated from 1929 to 1940 44 caps for Yugoslavia, scoring 18 goals. Including two World Cup qualifiers for the World Cup in 1934 and a World Cup 1938.
