Ořechov (Žďár nad Sázavou District)

Ořechov ( German Orzechow, 1940-45 Nußdorf ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located nine kilometers east of Velké Meziříčí and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Ořechov located in Krischanauer Bergland ( Křižanovská Highlands ) in the south of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands left side of the river Bítýška. West of the town there are numerous ponds. To the north rise the Na skalách ( 654 m) and the Svatá hora ( 679 m), northeast of the Maly Kamenný vrch ( 592 m). Through the town, the state road 37 between Křižanov and Velka Bites, and the railway from Brno leads to Zdar nad Sázavou.

Neighboring towns are Kadolec in the north, Rohy, Heřmanov and Milešín in the northeast, Skřinářov in the east, Tři Dvory Osová and Osová Bítýška the southeast, Křeptovský Dvůr and Ruda in the south, Jabloňov the southwest, Ronov in the west and Sviny and Křižanov in the northwest.

To the west, between Ronov and Březejc is the deserted village Chlístov, and in the southwest between Ronov Ruda and the deserted village Kyjov.

History

The first written mention of the village was Orziechowe 1364 as Henricus de Ossaw ( Jindřich z Osového az Ronova ) overwrote the rule Ossaw to Jan of Bechyně (Jan z Bechyně ). This was separated in 1366 Orziechowe of Ossaw and sold the village including Libochová, the forest at Chlístov and the half Kadolec at Mikes of Borotín. He sold two years later to Orzechau Čeněk of Letovice. At the beginning of the 15th century Orzechau came back to power Osové. Sigmund of Doubravice and Osové wrote in 1493 the village along with Kadolec and the half Bítýška his wife Markéta of Kukvice to.

In 1552 Orzechau led by Jan Přepyský of Rychemburk to a small dominion, whose seats the newly built festivals Nový Ořechov and the knight was Ořechov seat, which was later called Ronow was. The rule New Orzechau ( Nový Ořechov ) comprised the villages Orzechau, Kadolec and Kyjov and the desert village and the desert courtyard Chlístov. On the manorial estates a tavern, brewery, bakery, forge and hammer mill were operated. 1609 bought Lev Burian Berka of Dubé and Lipa the reign of Alena from Meziříčí. Other owners were, inter alia, William Munk of Eibenschütz and after the Battle of White Mountain, Cardinal Franz Xaver von Dietrich stone. On June 4, 1687 bought Dominik Andreas von Kaunitz rule New Orzechau and closed it on to Krizanau. In 1700 began in Ořechov the smelting of iron ore from Kundratice. Between 1703 and 1710 there was a blast furnace in operation, at the same time took place in the 18th century to Ořechov iron ore mining.

After the abolition of patrimonial Ořechov formed in 1850 a district of the municipality Křižanov in the District team Velké Meziříčí. Was established in 1867, the municipality and the district Ořechov Ronov. At the beginning of 1961, the municipality was assigned to the Okres Zdar nad Sázavou. Between 1980 and 1990 Ořechov was a district of Osová Bítýška. Since 2008 Ořechov leads a coat of arms and banners.

The municipality consists of the villages Ořechov Ořechov ( Orzechow, 1940-45 Nussdorf ) and Ronov ( Ronow ).
