Oriximiná

Oriximiná is a municipality in the Brazilian state of Pará. 2010 the municipality had 63,000 inhabitants.

Geography

The municipality is located in northwest Oriximiná Pará and in the north of Brazil. With an area of ​​107,603 km ², it is the second largest municipality in terms of area of Pará and the fourth largest in Brazil.

The place Oriximiná located on the eastern shore of the Río Paru do Oeste, about 30 km upstream of its confluence with the Amazon.

Oriximiná was founded in 1877.
