Oronoco is a place in Olmsted County, Minnesota, United States. In the 2000 census, the village had 883 inhabitants. The name was given to the place of one of the first settlers, Hector Galloway, according to the Orinoco River in South America. The local company was established in 1854, one year later the plots were established. 1858, the surrounding Oronoco Township was formed. The City Oronoco was statuiert on March 6, 1968.
