Orphanet

Orphanet is a database of resources for rare diseases and drugs to treat rare diseases (so-called orphan drugs ) bundles to improve their diagnosis and treatment. Orphanet was in 1997 by the French Ministry of Health and the Institut national de la santé et de la recherche médicale (INSERM ) initiated and is now run by a consortium of European partner countries under French leadership with support from the European Union.
