Osaka Marathon

The Osaka Marathon (Japanese大阪 マラソン, Osaka Marason ) is a marathon, which takes place in Osaka since 2011 in the fall. It is organized by the Prefecture of Osaka, the city of Osaka and the Osaka Association of Athletics Federations.

Route

The start is west of the park surrounding the castle Osaka. From there, it goes first to the south, then west and after five kilometers on a turning point track, passing leads back to the administration building of Osaka Prefecture to the castle. Then you walk west on another turning point route to Osaka Dome. The second half of the course leads south past the landmark Tsutenkaku and then turns to the west from the goal at Intex Osaka.
