Óscar de Marcos

Óscar de Marcos Arana (born 14 April 1989) is a Spanish football player. He plays since 2009 when Athletic Bilbao in La Liga, the Spanish top flight.

Career

De Marcos began his career in the youth Deportivo Alavés, where he was taken in 2008 on the B- team in the first team. 2008/ 09 it was in the Segunda División, the second- highest division, table, 19th and descended from this. Then, the striker returned the club back and moved to Athletic Bilbao. With the Basques, he starred in his first season in the UEFA Europa League and the final of the Spanish Super Cup, which was lost. His debut at European club level, the striker was on 6 August 2009 in qualifying for the Europa League against Swiss representative BSC Young Boys Bern, Bern in the game was won 2-1.

With a sixth place in the Primera División 2010/11 Bilbao qualified for the UEFA Europa League 2011 /12. The striker came on 13 games and four goals.

At national level, de Marcos has played for several youth teams of Spain. He took part in Egypt at the 2009 U -20 World Cup. The striker came off the bench in the match against Tahiti and played against Venezuela. Spain was eliminated in the second round against Italy.
