Óscar Sevilla

Óscar Miguel Sevilla Ribera ( born September 29, 1976 in Ossa de Montiel in Albacete ) is a Spanish cyclist.

Career

Seville is professional since 1998 and was until 2003 the team Kelme. In 2004 he rode for Phonak Cycling Team and from 2005 to July 2006 for the T -Mobile team. In the 2007 season he rode for the second-class cycling team Relax- GAM Fuenlabrada. Since the 2008 season, he drives for the team rock racing.

Seville was after his victory in the youth classification of the Tour de France and the second place in the Tour of Spain in 2001 as one of the largest Spanish -coming talents, but was unable to build on this success in a row. Seville has become a reliable team driver with strengths in the mountains. His weakness is the time trial.

Doping scandal

On the morning of June 30, 2006 Sevilla was suspended together with Jan Ullrich and his advisor Rudy Pevenage by the team led by T-Mobile, he therefore could not compete in the 2006 Tour de France. In 2011, he stands at the Continental Team Gobernación de Antioquia Antioquia - Indeportes under contract.
