Oskar Schade

Oskar Schade ( born March 25, 1826 in Erfurt, † December 30, 1906 in Königsberg i.Pr. ) was a German German scholar and university teacher.

Life

As a teacher, son, he attended high school in Erfurt and from 1843 the Henneberg school in Schleusingen. He studied at the Friedrich - University of Halle and the Friedrich -Wilhelms -Universität zu Berlin. In Halle he founded the Corps Normannia.

As a student of Jakob Grimm and Karl Lachmann he habilitated in 1860 in Halle. From 1863 to 1906 he was professor at the Albertus University of Königsberg.
