The Otso is a Finnish icebreaker was built in 1986 on the Wärtsilä shipyard in Helsinki under the hull number 472.

The ship is powered by a diesel-electric drive. The four diesel engines from Wärtsilä together provide 21,846 KW, which are delivered up to 15,000 kW for the electric drive of the two screws of the ship.

Owner of the ship is the Finnish Shipping Enterprise ( Finstaship ), which uses the ship in the Baltic Sea Bothnian and the Gulf of Finland.
